The Organic Topper is firm Dunlop latex, so it adds a solid, level layer that pushes back instead of letting you sink. Your spine stays straighter, and the pressure comes off your lower back. Unlike memory foam, latex gives the same support at 3am as it does when you first lie down.

Will this topper fix a sagging mattress?

Honestly, it depends how far gone the mattress is. If your bed has softened with age but still holds its basic shape, a firm latex topper genuinely transforms it. It fills in the soft spots and gives you a solid new sleeping surface for a fraction of the cost of a new bed. If your mattress has a deep visible dip or broken springs, a topper will soften the symptom but can't cure it. We'd rather tell you that now than after you've bought one.

GOLS stands for Global Organic Latex Standard. It certifies that the latex is organically grown and processed, from the rubber plantation through to the finished foam. On this topper, the GOLS certificate covers the latex core, and the cover is separately GOTS certified organic cotton. We name the certification on the exact part it covers, because a vague "organic" label with nothing behind it is exactly the kind of thing we started this brand to avoid.

How do I look after it?

Very little to do. The GOTS organic cotton cover unzips fully and machine-washes. The latex core itself doesn't need flipping or rotating, though an occasional rotation spreads wear evenly. Keep the core out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, as natural latex doesn't like prolonged heat or UV. That's it.

Does latex sleep hot like memory foam?

No, and this is where latex wins outright. Memory foam is dense and petroleum-based, and it traps your body heat. That's the overheating that has you flipping to the cool side at 3am. Natural latex has an open-pinhole structure that lets air move through it all night, so it stays close to room temperature. Cooler isn't a feature we added. It's just how the material works.
