Two certificates, and the one part that has neither.
GOLS-certified Organic Latex core
GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) certifies that the latex core is organic natural rubber, traceable from the tapped plantation through to the facility where it becomes finished foam. The standard sets strict limits on additives, synthetic content and chemical processes.
GOTS-certified Organic Cotton casing
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) does the same for the cotton casing, fibre source, weaving, finishing; with transaction certificates issued along the supply chain, so every batch traces back to origin.
The anti-slip base is 100% polyester and not certified.
We tried to avoid it. Toppers slide, and a topper that has slipped across the mattress overnight leaves the edge unsupported. The base holds it square. We are still looking for a natural fibre that grips as well. Until we find one, we would rather tell you than let you assume.
The questions you should be asking.
You are being asked to pay for something that is still on a ship. These are the answers we would want before doing that.
Is the £25 really refundable?
Yes, in full, at any time before we dispatch, with no questions and no form. Reply to any email from us with the word "refund" and we will process it.
If you have not heard back within two working days, email hello@notswisscheese.co.uk and we will fix it.
When will it actually arrive?
We start dispatching on 15 October 2026 onwards. That date is set by manufacturing, not marketing: our components arrive separately during October, and then every topper is hand-kitted here.
If anything slips we will email you the same week we know, with a new date and an offer to refund.
What if I pick the wrong size?
Your size and feel are recorded when you reserve, but you can swap either — free — at any point up to dispatch. Just reply and tell us.
If the size you want has sold out by then we will say so honestly and offer you the next production date or a refund.
How long does my credit last?
Thirty days from launch day. Your credit is valid from 15 October until 15 November 2026, on one order.
It includes the £25 you have already paid and it is not additional to it. It cannot be split across orders, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
Why a deposit at all?
Because this is a first production run of 189 two-inch toppers made by hand, and reservations tell us how many of each size to build.
It is not a scarcity tactic, 189 is simply how many there are.
Can I try it and send it back?
Yes. Thirty nights from delivery. If it is not for you, you send it back and we refund you.
Is it organic?
The latex core is GOLS-certified organic. The cotton casing is GOTS-certified organic. The anti-slip base is 100% polyester and is not certified.
We would rather be precise than round it up. Certificate numbers and transaction certificates are available on request.
Will it help my back?
We are not going to tell you that, because we cannot prove it and plenty of people would.
What we can tell you is what it is: a firm, dense organic latex topper that holds its shape instead of sinking. Whether that suits you is a question for you, and if it does not, the thirty nights are there for exactly that reason.
